On June 2023, Italy launched a new digital tool called INAD which stands for Indice Nazionale dei Domicili Digitali (in English: National Digital Domicile Index).
This will allow citizens to choose their own digital domicile and receive all official communications from the Public Administration at a designated certified e-mail (known as the PEC email address).
To fix your digital domicile, go to https://domiciliodigitale.gov.it and access (register) it with a SPID, CIE or CNS.

Once you successfully access it, the platform will ask you to register your PEC address.
